Alexandra Velickovic (RMT, IARP)
Her work carries a deep compassion and respect for all beings and is rooted in a sense of service. She has spent a decade and a half as a student and spiritual seeker in India, and from her rich life experience brings a gracious dedication to her healing practice. Alexandra’s gentle nature is assuring and her presence empowers others to engage in their own healing process. She uses Reiki as the basis of her work and intuitively combines it with Integrated Energy Therapy. Reiki means "Universal Life Force Energy." It is a purely benevolent and intelligent energy that is naturally drawn by the energy centers in the body. In her healing work, Alexandra approaches the body as a whole energy system. Each session consists of the gentle laying-on of hands and the light pressing of particular points along the body. Clients need only relax, breathe and allow! Alexandra completed Level Three Reiki in March 2008 with Grandmaster Rohini Desai (in Mumbai) and became a Master Teacher in September 2010 with Faith Supple (in New York). She studied Advanced Integrated Energy Therapy with Stevan Thayer and Faith Supple and completed the advanced IET level in 2009. She completed Advanced Compassionate Depossession with Betsy Bergstrom in March 2011. She also spent three months in Brazil in the presence of John of God in 2010.
